If you could have dinner with any famous person, who would you like to eat with and why?  Where would you have your dream dinner?  What would you talk about over dinner?  What would you order for dessert?

There are about 11 weeks of school left this year.  Take a minute to think about what you are doing well at in school and what you think you need to work on.  What goals do you have for yourself?  What is one thing that you would really like to work on and improve before the end of the year?   What is your plan?  How could you improve yourself as a student?

Last week, you wrote about being something in nature and I loved reading all of your wild ideas!  This week, I want to know…are you ready for this…If you could be a super hero:  What would be your super name?What powers would you have?  Who would be your arch enemies?  Who would be your sidekicks or helpers?  Up, up, and… start thinking and writing ! ! !

If you had to be something in nature, what would it be and why?

What would you eat and do all day long?

Who would your natural enemies be?  What about your natural friends?

This winter, in Las Vegas, we’ve had some wild weather!  We’ve had  cold temperatures and a lot of rain!  What do you think of our winter weather?  Do you like it when it rains?  Why or why not?  What is your favorite kind of weather and why?  What can you do in your favorite kind of weather?

Think back to all the books you have read lately.  Which one was your favorite?  Why did you like it?  Tell me a little bit about the book and why you thought it was good.
